An antique French majolica plate measuring 8.25 inches in diameter, molded in a richly detailed leaf form with raised veining and a beautifully saturated emerald green glaze. The sculptural surface gives it incredible depth, with light catching in all the right places across the textured leaves and ribbed border.

The underside bears a French impressed mark, and the glaze has that glossy, dimensional finish that only true 19th century majolica achieves. There is a tiny bit of age appropriate wear at the center and along the edge, noted for accuracy, but it presents beautifully and displays wonderfully.

A perfect layering piece for a bookshelf, kitchen vignette, or mixed into a wall of collected majolica. The color alone makes it a standout.
