A charming Italian ceramic keepsake box, beautifully hand painted in classic blue and white with a whimsical architectural and scroll motif across the lid. The softly faceted, almost octagonal shape gives it a sculptural presence, while the painterly brushwork keeps it feeling relaxed and collected rather than formal.

Measuring 3.75” x 3”, it is the perfect size for a bedside treasure, a stack of antique rings, or tucked into a layered bookshelf vignette among blue and white porcelain. The underside is signed Albissola, dipinto a mano, marking it as hand painted in the famed Italian ceramics town of Albissola. In excellent vintage condition with light, age-appropriate wear to the base.
