depicts Cupid (or Love) discovering that even the god of love is not immune to pain. In the story, Cupid is stung while stealing honey from a beehive and runs crying to Venus. When he complains about how much such a tiny creature can hurt, Venus gently reminds him that he, too, is small yet capable of inflicting far greater wounds with his arrows.
